When is drop off?

The allotted time for drop off is between 8 and 9am. If this does not work for you we do offer later drop off times by request only. Please note that even if you've had late drop off times in the past, that does not guarantee a late drop off in the future. Late drop offs are a first come first serve basis.

Did my dog really need to be there all day?

Most dogs will be completed in the order that they arrive. However, that may change depending on size of the dog and type of hair. We can have upwards of 15 dogs a day and to do that efficiently sometimes we change the order of the dogs to make our day run smoothly. If you are worried about your dog spending a long amount of time in the shop we have options for you. Between late drop offs and early pick ups we can help you and your dog have a pleasant visit.

Why was I charged a matted fee?

When we have a dog with excessive matting there are two options, 1. Brush through it 2. Shave it out. Depending on the severity of the matting we may be able to break it up with careful brushing and de-matting tools. This of course takes time and as they say "time is money". Sometimes you can escape a matted fee when we are able to shave them out in a timely manner. When matts are too close to the skin and tight it takes much more time and care to remove the matts without harming your dog.

Why was I charged a cancellation fee?

Cancelation fees are applied when you cancel your appointment within 24 business hours of your scheduled drop off time. When given such short notice we can't always find someone to fill that spot. The cancelation fee is not intended to be a punishment. It's purpose is to lessen the impact that a lost appointment can make on the business.

Why doesn't my dog look the way I wanted?

If you pick up your dog and are unhappy with your haircut let us know as soon as possible! If it is something that can be fixed right away, come back within a week of your appointment and we will fix it for free. Please keep in mind that while we are capable groomers, your dogs temperment and quality of hair can greatly impact the result of their haircut. As always if you still have any questions or concerns please talk to us, we want to help.

How often does my dog need seen?

The typical length between grooming appointments ranges between 4-6 weeks. If your dog goes longer lengths before needing a haircut it is still important to bring them in for nail maintenance as a walk in.

Do you take credit cards?

We do! Just so you know, there will be a 3% service charge added to your bill so some customers still make sure to bring cash or a check.

Can I bring my own shampoo?

Absolutely! We have plenty of dogs with special shampoo prescribed by their vet or their owner just prefers a different scent.
